The Challenge:
The Medina Municipal Court’s previous website lacked a cohesive branded foundation. The visual identity, specifically the color palette, did not accurately reflect the established colors of the Medina community or the city government. Administratively, the site was difficult to update, leading to a lack of design consistency across different departmental pages. The court needed a platform that was both authoritative in its appearance and highly functional for its internal team.
The Solution:
WRIS Web Services began by designing a new logo and color palette that directly mirrors the Medina city government seal, creating an immediate sense of officiality and local pride. To solve the administrative challenges, we utilized the Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) plugin and Custom Post Types (CPTs) to build a bespoke backend tailored to the specific needs of each department. We developed custom Elementor templates for every department, ensuring that whenever staff members add new pages, the design remains uniform and professional without requiring a developer. Finally, we assisted in a deep content audit, reviewing and archiving legacy documentation to streamline the user experience.
